Sheryl Underwood was born and raised in Arkansas and raised there. She was a television host for the daytime talkshow The Talk. Sheryl Underwood, born in Arkansas, was raised between Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is a member of a troubled family. Sheryl was fostered by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered from Polio. She had a lot of trouble with her mother while growing as a teenager. Sheryl claims that her mom had a time when she stabbed her father over getting too close. Sheryl joined up the military shortly after graduating from college. Her interest was in comedy. She was the first woman to be a finalist in the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. Her TV career began in 1992, as a performer for the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she hosted the show Oh Drama! She has appeared as host on The Talk since 2011. She has also played the fictional character in TV shows such as Bulworth Nicki and Beauty Shop.
