Aahoo Jansouzshahi (10 January 1980) more popularly known as Sarah Shahi, an American model and actress. She played the role of actress played Carmen in The L Word 2005. Kate Reed, USA Network's legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-12), and Sameen Shaw in CBS crime drama Person of Interest (2012)-2016. [2] She has also been in the role of Det. Dani Reese in Life,[3] and in a supporting role in Alias. She also appeared in Reverie the 2018 show. She starred as a recurring character in City on a Hill on Showtime in 2019[5[5]. She also appeared in seven episodes of The Rookie playing the role of Jessica Russo in the romantic romance Jessica Russo. Shahi met Robert Altman on the set Dr. T and the Women In Texas. She was advised to make the move to Hollywood and was offered roles in Alias and Dawson's Creek. In 2005 she appeared in the supporting character role of DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales on The L Word, which she was a part of in its second season. Shahi's contract , which ran for two years was terminated following the fourth season. Her character was then deleted from the show.
